Human Resources Director APAC -based in Hong Kong

Our client is a global IT Vendor. They are seeking for an HR professional based in Hong Kong covering APAC to set up and lead all HR aspects, policies, programs and activities in the region, align with the corporate strategy & policies. This is an Individual Contributor role.


Responsibilities:

• Lead HR practices and objectives to provide a high performance culture with high quality and productivity by recruiting and ongoing development of a superior workforce in the region
• Manage and improve the hiring process
• Handle employee relations and develop training and development programs
• Implement HR process such as Talent Management and Performance Review
• Handle compensation and benefits plans
• Advise managers and employees on HR related matters, company policies and procedures and help them solve HR related issues
• Lead change management process to ensure business continuity, good communication and implementation
• Report to VP Global HR and serve the APAC Senior Executives
• As an HRBP by working closely to APAC Senior Executives and regional managers on improving business through HR strategies
• Around 30% of travelling is required


Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related disciplines
• At least 7 years of Senior HR position with APAC experience
• Hands-on experience as an all-rounded HR professional, especially in Training and Recruitment 
• Experience working for a Hi-Tech company, preferable with those selling Enterprise Business Solution 
• Knowledge in using Social Media for recruitment
• Mature, independent, highly motivated, with strong interpersonal skills are desire qualities
• Excellent presentation and communication skills in verbal and written English. Able to speak Cantonese or Mandarin will be a big plus
• Willing to travel to APAC region
